As an professional designer, you may need a good email list which can bring you lots of money. So it is obvious that you should get many people as you can to sign up for your list in a legit way. But people do not just add their names and their respective email addresses to your list except when they will get something from you in return. This is the time when free offers or free downloads or free newsletters are given to them. Take note however that the simple freebies that you are going to offer will not be able to convince everyone to sign up for your mailing list. You should be able to give something of value, and also something that they will not be able to get elsewhere.
Free weekly newsletters are offered by various internet marketers so as to keep in close contact with their clients. At times, an extra bonus freebie will be given when someone really do signs up. Normally it will be an eBook or a free report specifically targeted at the customer type that the marketer is really interested in getting for their list.
Let us take an example, that you have many different eBooks to sell wherein the subject of these eBooks is the search engine optimization. A free newsletter may be offered by giving tips regularly on how to get more traffic to your website and a free report may also be offered as a trade for an email address.
This offer will undoubtedly have many people with their own website receive this free report together with the regular weekly tips which will be very important to them. If the result will be an advantage to them, there is a better chance that they will buy some of your products in the future.
Once a good solid product is offered, better make sure that many people interested in the subject of the product will be able to see it. You can place a sign up box where it is easily seen on the upper half of your website’s home page. You may even put one on your blog if it is related with your product. You may also try to write some article content on the generation of traffic and some SEO tips. Include also a website link where people may sign up and be able to post them to different article directories.
Building a big email list is not possible overnight. Bear in mind that your list will be able to develop over time with continued effort. It is largely possible that if you offer something of value to everybody on your email list, you will be able get a big take up rate since the people included in the list know you already and they trust the information you are providing them.
That is basically the reason why a big email list is definitely worth striving for.
