The graffiti and street cultures are famous for being bold, appealing, provocative and uncompromising. These are originally used by the gangs to mark their so-called territory in some urban areas.
The graffiti is now a rich instrument of unrestricted expression of statements and ideas. As a matter of fact, the artists as well as the creative designers all over the world use this art form to convey their messages and display their work.

These aren't graffiti, they're street art. Graffiti is something that is done sneakily and these took LOTS of TIME.
You’ll find most writers are happy with either term.
Your right, it is street art at it very best, however the term Graffiti was used to make it easier to associate.
